CLEANING

Wash your cutting board with lukewarm water and soap. Don’t soak or fully submerge your board in water and never put it in the dishwasher.

Your board will occasionally need more than just cleaning. When it starts to dry out and the wood begins to feel rough follow these steps to refinish:

  1. CLEAN
Thoroughly wash your cutting board with water and soap, then let it dry completely.

  2. SAND
Sand your board smooth using a high-grit (220) sandpaper.

  3. OIL
Apply a layer of mineral oil or a wood wax blend to your cutting board using a clean rag or rub it in by hand.

  4. DRY
After the finish dries (about 15 minutes) wipe away any excess.

That’s it! Your board is ready for regular use.
